ViewSonic ViewPad 10s Android Tablet
ViewSonic has announced the availability of its European compressed ViewPad 10s Android. The device is currently priced at 299 Euro / about $ 431 (wireless model only) or 398 Euro / approx $ 574 (3 G wireless model).
In case you did not know, 10s measures 275.5 (W) x 178.5 (H) x 14.5 (D) mm, weights 730 grams and has a 10-inch LED-backlit (1024 x 600) capacitive touch, 512 MB of DDR2 memory, 512 MB of flash memory, a microSD slot (up to 32 GB cards are supported), a 1.3 megapixel camera facing the front, two 1.5 W speakers, a G-sensor, Bluetooth 2.1 , WiFi 802.11b / g (3G is optional), USB 2.0 and HDMI ports, and a battery with battery life of 6.5 hours.
ViewPad launched today on the Old Continent’s ViewPad compressed 10s which is powered by NVIDIA Tegra SoC 2 (two cores with the Cortex-A9 1 GHz) and works pretty date, but Android 2.2 (Froyo) OS. [via techfresh]
