Sony Ericsson Android 3.0 PlayStation Phone

It is no secret that the PlayStation Portable suffers from competition from devices like the iPhone and iPod touch, which, despite their inferior material gain traction as a portable gaming devices. It is not difficult to imagine that this phone if successful PlayStation could mark the end of dedicated portable game consoles from Sony and a move to being a platform provider of mobile games. And if games are notably better (in terms of visuals and gameplay) than those available on the App Store from Apple, which would not be a bad idea.

According to Engadget from “reliable sources” (nothing to do with us), the device will be launched in October and run version 3.0 (gingerbread) Android operating system from Google.

Described as a merger of Galaxy S PSPgo and Samsung have equipped the camera with a 3.7in touchscreen and between 4.1In size with a resolution of, or perhaps higher, 800 x 480 pixels.
