Samsung NX11 Mirrorless Extent Compatible Camera

Samsung has announced an update to its NX series mirrorless interchangeable lens cameras with a new powerful 24x zoom compact at CES next week. Monitoring the NX10 (rightly called the NX11) shares many features of its predecessor, including an APS-C (23.4 mm x 15.6 mm) size, 14.6 megapixel CMOS and 3 -inch AMOLED screen.

The unit is also updating the same weight and size, with the main points of difference being the extent compatible with the lenses i-Function inaugurated last year on the NX100 and a slight tweaking of the design adhesion.

The NX11 will be available with 18-55mm lens i-function and two new lenses i-Function – a 20mm pancake and 20-50mm zoom silver. Samsung i-objective function is a new approach to simplify access to commands from the device that allows the shutter speed, aperture, EV, WB, and ISO to be controlled by a toggle switch on the objective itself.

The idea makes sense because one of the drawbacks of the new generation of cameras mirrorless is the lack of space on the body to the same type of fast access controls found on their brothers and sisters DSLR – with this system, you can adjust the key parameters without taking your camera off topic. There is also a mode selector priority designed to direct you to the best way for each goal. The NX11 is set for release Feb. 1, 2011 at a cost of U.S. $ 649. [via gizmag]
