Samsung NX11 Design i-Function Lens Camera
samsung announced by Samsung NX11, their launch line-up for CES 2011. The unit is supplied to update the popular NX10, which we reviewed and assessed last year.
Samsung says it has been a change in the design handle strengthen the emphasis on ease of use, but the biggest change is compatible with the lenses i-function, a concept introduced in the NX100. i-feature adds a shortcut to the body of the lens itself, which means you can change some settings shooting by simply pressing the button.
Consistent with this new lens compatibility, the Samsung NX11 comes with an i-function 18-55mm zoom. The press is going to tell us that there will be two new lenses i-function, a 20mm pancake lens and a zoom 20-50mm, silver.
There is also an additional “priority lens’ mode dial, allowing you to select the best settings for shooting the lens. Around the back you get a 3-inch AMOLED screen plus the electronic viewfinder. There’s a claw and a flash, so out of the box, the NX11, NX10 as seems to be well equipped.
In other news the company Samsung has also announced the 16-megapixel Samsung WB700 sports camera. It features a 24x zoom (18x optical zoom and is 1.3 x chip), a 24mm ultra-wide from Schneider Kreuznach, CCD, and 1080p HD video. The WB700 be available in April for about $ 300. [via pocket-lint]
