Nokia C6-01 QWERTY Smartphone
In early October, Nokia said that the C6-01 – one of its new Symbian smartphones ^ 3 – would be available in India by mid-December. However, Nokia India Twitter is saying (here and here) that the C6-01 will actually be launched in January next year – despite the fact that the handset has started shipping this month and is already available in some markets.
As recalled, C6-01 Nokia smartphone will be equipped with a 3.2-inch touch screen capacitive AMOLED screen with 640 x 360 resolution and Technology Nokia ClearBlack, TV-out, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi , Bluetooth 3.0, 340MB of onboard memory, microSD / microSDHC cards (up to 32GB), FM tuner, MicroUSB with USB On-The-Go, and GPS. As stated in January 2011 is also launching QWERTY smartphone , the Nokia E7, which will be released in India too.
There is no word yet on the price of the Nokia C6-01 for the Indian market, but it should be around 16,000 INR (€ 260). January 2011 is also when the QWERTY-equipped Nokia E7 will be published in India. In the meantime, if you are in India and you want a Symbian smartphone ^ 3 right away, you can buy the Nokia or Nokia N8 C7. [via gadgetfolder]
