Verizon Wireless announced the latest addition to its portfolio Droid, Droid BIONIC Motorola. The new smartphone packs quite a punch with a fast dual-core processor and 4G LTE support.
The BIONIC DROID as ATRIX 4G is powered by a dual core processor running at 1 GHz and 16 GB of internal storage a. It has 512 MB of DDR2 RAM and runs on Android 2.2. The device has a 4.3-inch QHD 960 × 540 touchscreen, 8 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, SGPS (simultaneous), eCompass and a microSD card slot. It supports Bluetooth and DLNA.
With aa super fast dual-core processor with up to 2 GHz of processing power total, BIONIC offer users a user experience quickly and smoothly as you navigate through the screens of its operating system Android 2.2. The device supports Verizon Wireless‘ new network for 4G LTE data which is the flow velocity should be up to 10 times faster than Verizon’s 3G network today.
The BIONIC offers 8-megapixel camera for video and photos and a VGA camera to the front for video conferencing on the massive 4.3-inch QHD smartphone (Ward HD) touchscreen. Other features include web browsing HTML5, Adobe Flash Player, HDMI connectivity and Bluetooth. The Motorola Droid BIONIC should be available during the early second quarter of 2011 with Verizon Wireless. [via mobileburn]
