Hasselblad Camera 200 Megapixel Capture Device

Multi-shot cameras are used by studio photographers to produce images at ultra high resolution and accurate color information. Key customer segments include the most famous museums and studios in the world where cars, jewelry and expensive products are made with an image quality that leaves no room for compromise. Apart from his multi-shot, the Hasselblad H4D-50MS normal mode has a shot included as well.

After successful testing, Hasselblad plans to release the capture mode of new high-resolution cameras Hasselblad H4D-50MS in early 2011. All current Hasselblad cameras H4D-50MS will be offered this new capture mode to the factory, using our new calibration and maintenance at a price to be announced in due course.

Hasselblad has been to explore the next steps in the creation of capturing very high resolution. Based on new developments in its laboratories Hasselblad multi-shot technology is to disseminate the results of testing a new device to capture 200 megapixels. The 200-megapixel Hasselblad camera is based on a 50 megapixels sensor mounted on the patented symmetrical framework Hasselblad multi-shot, which can accurately position the probe with a sub-micron precision using piezoelectric actuators. Capture 6 shots with the sensor positioned precisely to a sequence of quadrants of the pixel basis of 6 microns, color information on the grounds of Bayer pixels is used to create a 200 megapixel capture.

The color information is made so that it replaces the information from a single shot using a potential sensor 200 single-shot megapixels. In recent laboratory Hasselblad have refined the tolerances of the calibration frame base of the sensor to achieve the above results, algorithms and the physics of color and new filtering techniques were applied to achieve the 200 megapixel image. The capture device is now complete final test for the stability and accuracy of colors to fit Hasselblad made unique color of a generic profile.
