Cricket Huawei Ascend New Budget Smartphone
Judging by its design, it seems that the U8230 Huawei, which was introduced in June last year at CommunicAsia 2009 (Singapore).
Inside Huawei Ascend is a 3.5 inch touch screen with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels (HVGA), 3.2 megapixel camera with fixed focus with video recording capabilities, a memory card slot microSD, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. Ascend runs on Android 2.1 OS with a few custom interface like the home screen of nine panels.
The smartphone is designed to Ascend Huawei CDMA EV-DO Rev A. Cricket Wireless, a U.S. regional carrier has just launched the new budget phone, called the Ascend Huawei. The handset is manufactured by Chinese company, Huawei Technologies.
